Parameter definition

It is possible to define parameters to fill the transactions or BAPIs. For that purpose complete "Value" in PROGRAM SPECIFICATION using @PARAMETER (the name of the parameter can be up to 8 characters long, any exceding character will be truncated), as this example shows:

SAPLKMA1

0300

BDC_OKCODE

'/00'

BKTXT

TEXT

BUDAT

@GL_DATE

When leaving the field where you have typed the parameter, the program will tell you that the variable/parameter GL_DATE did not exist and that it was defined as a parameter. If you want you can change the definition to make GL_DATE be a variable and not asked to the user (see Define new variables); for that case you should fill this variable with some ABAP/4 code that you could provide in ABAP/CODE/HERE column.
