Entity-Relationship Diagram

Entity-Relationship Diagram window contains the Entity-Relationship Diagram for the tables selected by you plus the related tables.

Adding a table (and related tables): Click AddTable to add multiple tables to the Entity-Relationship Diagram (even in a single step, by searching for multiple tables using the wildcards and separating search strings by ";". For example: "ek*;zpo*;zfi*"). Click SHIFT and the arrow keys or CTRL and the mouse button to select multiple entries.

Adding tables from Source Code: Click AddCode to add all the tables found in a Program to the Entity-Relationship Diagram. The application will add all the tables found in the code, then it will search and graph all the relationships found in the SAP dictionary for that tables. Finally it will graph all the relationships which were found in the SQL expressions (Joins), except if a dictionary relationship relates those tables.

View Table Details: Default option when double-clicking a table. Use this feature to retrieve additional information for the current table.

Find more relationships: After adding one or more tables, select this option to recursively explode the rest of the relationships for the selected table. This way you can manage the growth of the diagram by selecting the nodes (specially leaves) that you want to recurse.

Refresh table definition: Refresh the current table definitions from the SAP dictionary or cache (if the table was already cached). If you think the table has changed since you logged on to the SAP system, click <F11> to delete the memory cache before refreshing definitions.

Set as central table: Set a table as central to arrange the whole diagram around it.

Deleting a table: Select the table and hit "Del" to delete the object from the diagram.

Create you own relationships: Click on a table and drag the arrow to another table to create your own relationships.
